netgear wireless router mac compatible

Why does my browser compatible receive an unsupported browser "message from Facebook?

I tried using multiple browsers listed in the list of compatible browsers http://www.facebook.com/common/browser.php Facebook've tried on both PC and Mac In all cases, says my browser is not compatible despite being on the list. I'm using Internet service from Cox Cable through a Netgear wireless router. I also connected through my neighbor connect Wireless and received the same message, though I'm not sure what ISP they use. Does anyone know what might be causing this and how to fix the problem? I'm trying to set up a Facebook "Pages" and I think that these errors can be the cause of my problem. I've used Safari and Latest versions Firefox on Mac OS. And IE 6, Firefox, Safari and Opera on the PC.

Hmm, I think you have crossed wires here. Either that or I'm confused. The website has just mention is not, in itself, a check of your browser. It's just a static page that displays the same "unsupported browser" error message regardless the browser to visit it. That is the only purpose of the page! The point is, if the use of Facebook, which in fact should never be redirected to the page unless that the browser you are using is actually incompatible. If you go to www.facebook.com and normally enter, you can use the site without being redirected to the page you mentioned? If so, your browser is compatible with clarity.
