Need help with my PS3 and Router setup?
I have a ps3 slim and I have a wireless router connected to a DSL modem.it is a Netgear router. I can Take off your router and connect it to the wall next to my ps3 and take an ethernet cable and then plug away from the computer. i can do this for wireless.
The ethernet cable doesn't get pluged into the wall. You have a phone cord into the wall. You have to keep the phone cord into the wall, but you can only connect the PS3 from the modem. This is what you do. The modem has to be close to the PS3 and take the ethernet cable (the cable from fat) and place the route on the PS3 and now you must turn off the modem and reinstall it again. Just so it works a little better than my opinion. Now you should have nothing connected to the router, unless the team can be there, but you will not get a connection. You can unhook everything and do but what I said, you should be able to connect wirelessly.
