How I can connect a printer and share files on a Netgear wireless ADSL router?

Hi folks. Im wondering if you can help. I have a laptop with Windows XP Professional and Windows XP Home Edition PC independent. The PC is connected independently to a netgear wireless router with ADSL an Ethernet cable and the laptop is paired with the wireless ADSL router via a 108 MBPS WIRELESS USB 2.0 ADAPTER. I created the connection to the Internet using NETGEAR software, but now I wonder how I can add a printer to the Netgear box for the device can send documents to print to the printer via independent PC? I have to use Windows own system or network using the Netgear software? Im am really stuck here. You can also share files, and printers via wireless router as well? Thanks

First you need to know if your printer is capable of being networked? If yes, will have an Ethernet connection and plug in the router and following the instructions provided by the printer manual should walk through your creation. If your printer is independent and should be connected directly to a computer then after adding the printer to a PC simply right-click the print queue and choose SHARE option and SAFE. This will allow all the other PCs on the network to see the new print queue. If you go to My Network Places, then add the printer to see the new share. This is also valid for the exchange of data, simple click on any folder you want others to see and find the option. Go to My Network Places will display the new share. But the bottom line is if you can add the printer to print on both laptop and desktop in its current configuration. For step by step instructions to use Help and Support Center "on your Windows XP laptop, you can reach it by pressing Windows Logo + F1. Then do a search for "printer" and guide you through adding and share the printer on a network. Good luck,
