netgear wireless router problems wgr614

Does anyone have problems with the wireless network when switched to Comcast Roadrunner yesterday?

I use Netgear WGR614 v6 wireless router with no problems with my wireless laptop to my cable internet connection has the transition to Comcast Roadrunner yesterday. And now my wireless laptop Connection keeps dropping signal every 20 seconds. I went and upgraded the router firmware, hoping to solve the problem. No luck. My main desktop works fine however. My desktop is directly connected to cable modem through the router and the connection is fine. I already reset my router and still no help. Try to disconnect and reconnect and still no help. Does the ipconfig and indicates that the router is working. my laptop has an internal wireless card that comes with when I bought it and that worked fine until yesterday. Do not do anything new, except for Comcast purchased Roadrunner and the transition to Roadrunner. Please help. Note: Today's date: 07 November 2006.

I had the same problem with my laptop. Comcast sucks his things wireless, work desk and a fine my brother. But my laptop did not. In fact, I ended up getting rid of my laptop when it broke because many things were wrong with him and we believe it was caused Comcast by updates. Calls to Comcast until they come home and fix it and get to see a reduction in your bill for lack of service. Over time the connection will not connect at all. Do not waste money on acquiring a technical team to come out, it is likely that he will tell you it's Comcast. And Comcast is going to say it's your laptop. Insist that they give a new modem. There are probably more options but I'm not very good with computers, so avoid things like removing and adding techniques high-tech things, so I complain of my suppliers. I hope that helped or given a new perspective.
