Bad Router?!?
I have a Netgear wireless Rangemax 240 WPNT834 Router
I have Verizon DSL.
My modem is a Westell 6100
I have tried multiple times to set this router up and several different people have tried to set this up. No luck
I have tried powercycling it, restarting the network different settings, and everything else i could think of Including restarting the router with the little button on the back.
When I set it up i go exactly by the installation disk. When I am finished it says i am connected. I try to view a web page and it says Page Cannot Be Displayed.
I think my router is bad but i have tried it with 2 different netgears
Any computer techs here?
Make sure you have you pc set uop for wireless internet. You can change this in “Internet Options”. you also wanna makesure your wireless adapter is enabled and ethernet is disabled.
