i can not complete the setup cd with my NETGEAR wireless router …?
I'm trying to configure a RangeMax Next Wireless Router (WNR834B) my (64 bit) Windows Netgear Vista computer but when it reaches the end of the installation where it says "restart network" that reaches 100% and then says "no You can restart the network push out and try again "every time … The power of light flashes in yellow and orange route constantly. When I can not everythings connected not even go to the default 192.168.1.1 page .. this is frustrating it is only a problem of view or am I overlooking something (I'm not very technical expert) Any I would like to help is appreciated not having to go buy a new router.
I doubt that the NETGEAR software is designed to work with Windows 64 bits. You will to use the manual configuration instructions found in the manual. If the router does not come with manual paper from a user, then most likely the Same CD with installation software. The last resort is to download the user manual from Netgear website. Follow the instructions and you should be good to go.
