How to Connect Huawei MT882 modem SmartAX Netgear WGR614v7 wireless router in Windows XP machine?
I have installation components: – Huawei MT882 modem SmartAX BSNL Dataone broadband – Netgear wireless router WGR614v7 – Windows XP desktop (P-4, 3.2 GHz) – Windows XP laptop (Intel Centrino M 1.8 GHz) My connection / setup works fine from the modem directly to the desktop / laptop. I am able to access internet. Now, I have to connect the modem to the wireless router so you can surf the net, both mobile and desktop. I can not do it. I tried the following, but are not working: – Tested the Netgear setup wizard – tried the steps exactly as in: http://www.indiabroadband.net/bsnl-broadband/127- making BSNL-Dataone-wireless-home-network-guide.html – Treated myself to configure the modem and router with no luck Can anyone help here?
I am sure that if you have been published in this issue in http://www.indiabroadband.net the problem would have been solved by now, but I do not see your post in that thread. I am the administrator on indiabroadband.net and to be honest I think you has lost a step or two of the tutorial because there is no reason why I can not work for you.If you describe the problem a little more, will be a little easier to understand for everyone to respond and provide a solution.
