Help to configure a netgear wireless router WGR614 v9 G?
I just bought a router and do not know what to do. First I put the cd on my laptop (Windows Vista HP 64-bit) and said that the application only works on Windows 2000, Windows XP or Vista 32-bit version operating systems. Run the application again in an operating system, or consult the documentation to configure the router independently. Does this mean that this router does not work on my laptop. If you do then what is what I do. I need to know where to put the strings. Please write step by step. I also tried to go to netgearlogin.net but I redirected to another site. Also I tried going to 192.168.1.1, but I do not knnow what to do there. Please help
The documentation that comes with the router must describe an "alternative" method. The IP address is either 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 in your web browser, you must connect directly (with an ethernet cable), while setting your router. You can use wireless later, but not until it is activated. Not knowing what your internet connection, I could not tell if you DHCP or PPPoE need to connect the router to your ISP.
