I’m trying to download the setup wizard for NETGEAR 54 Mbps Wireless Router. Anyone know how?
Every router comes with the setup wizard in the router itself. To invoke the setup wizard first connect the router to the ethernet card of your computer or set your PC to serach wireless WI-Fi and once the Netgear signal has been pickeup open the web-browser and type http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.1.1
The netgear router has built in webserver which has the setup wizard. Now the router responds with the authentication screen.
USER NAME: admin
PASSWORD: password
These are the default username and password for the netgear routers. Login into the router and on the left side you find the setup wizard.
You dont have to download from the netgear site or to install from the CD. IT is right in the router itself.
