How to setup wireless internet for PS3?

I just bought a PS3 and I'm struggling to get connected to the Internet. I as usual as go to internet connection settings, selection of easy, selecting wireless, I found my SSID, but I can not find my WPA key? I read that I should look at the bottom of my router but no two codes, one is a serial number and the other appears to be a MAC code. both contain numbers and letters. Also I put my automatic search for IP address and DNS settings, but always comes back as failed to obtain IP address lookup. please someone can help !!!!!! My modem is a Netgear DG834G v3
