netgear wireless router streaming video problems

by admin on April 30, 2010

I just upgraded my wireless network N. One team is up to running at 54mbs?

I just bought a Netgear dual band wireless router. Its cool. My htpc I built six months ago had an N wireless card in it. But from the router at that time was just a G wireless router, run a 54mbs. Not that I upgraded, I should be getting 300mbs but I'm not! I'm still getting 54mbs. This is really hurting my HD video streaming. I have problems still formwork. Edimax N is a wireless network adapter. How I can make the thing go faster? If I can reinstall the driver? im also in computer writing now, I updated him on the adapter with a Wireless G for a Wireless N. But I'm only getting 120mbs. The case of wine in particular, said 300mbs. It is not hurting steamed, but I'm wondering why its doing that. Thank you. : D

ffirstly, 54Mbps should be more than enough for the Internet unless it has an incredibly quick connection never has to 54 Mbps …. flows through the tube I promise that isn't huritng its flow, but what it probably is, and is linked to your problem low speed is the wireless signal, wireless signal lower the maximum theoretical speed is reduced, in this case 54 Mbps nevertheless take into account there are so many things that affect wireless performance ever likely to achieve the maximum theoretical speed, even on a LAN are slim to none …. in the same way that my router synchronizes to 6.5Mbps, but I only get to use 4.5-5Mbps of it because the rest is taken with the cleaning connection
