Unable to connect to the shared printer?
I have a Lexmark X1100 all in one printer connected to my Windows XP desktop through a connection USB. I have a laptop with Windows Vista. Both teams are connected to a NETGEAR RangeMax wireless router. Cnnection The desk has a cable to the router and the computer laptop has a wireless connection. When I try to send a print request through the network from the laptop to the printer connected to the desktop. When sending a request to the printer that ays "problem communicating with the printer." I checked the USB cable and power cable, taking out and put them back again, and restart both coputers. The Vista machine has a printer driver installed view of this printer. I guess the XP desktop ust drivr opera needs a compatible with xp or need a Vista driver compatibility?
