Computer geek/ wireless router, internet connection verification!! HELP!!!?
Okay, so we went to best buy and bought a NetGear Wireless-N Router so we can get wireless internet for our house. We took out the setup wizard cd, ran it, got all the right ethernet cables hooked up in the RIGHT places, and got to step 3, internet connection verification. We have Windstream DSL, and we KNOW our login information is correct, because we called our ISP and verified it. Every time we try and enter this information to log in and get connected, it runs a connections test, and then states that the test failed, most likely because the information given is incorrect! But we know it’s NOT! This is VERY frustrating! HELPPPPP!!!!!!!!! =[ The users manual states that it is impossible to send a wireless internet signal if there is no verification!
