
Netgear help!?
It is a 54 Mbps Wireless Router WGR614 v4 and is simply not working anymore. I have a desktop and laptop computers and is used for connecting it. The light is on and so is the wireless signal, both in amber. All my leads are configured correctly. My laptop is a mac and tells me I have full connection to Netgear but when I try to use it, does not work and say I'm not connected to the Internet. Do I need a new one? Rather not have to buy another, does anyone know what to do? It was originally connected to my desktop and I could get wireless Internet access to my laptop. Now simply not work anymore. I have read the manuals and have gone to web sites when I go to the page does not work.
Your wireless router is connected to a modem of some kind? You may have to power cycle it. Turn off the router and modem at the same time. Turn on the modem and wait avail, the lights went down. Then the power in the router. If it isn't, you may need to reconfigure the router, but you may want to ask another question then.
