Can someone help me set up my wireless router?
my mom just bought a wireless router and unfortunately it didnt come with the software. i dont know what cables plug where. i dont know how to set it up at all. please just give me everything you know about how to do this. i dont wanna any links. just how to plug it in, set up an account, get it protected, and use the wifi on my ipod touch. the router is a netgear wgr614 v6. thanks!
If you just bought it, use the instructions with it. To give you the full instructions, we would be repeating the same instructions of what you are going to be doing anyways.
People get paid a few hundred dollars to do this setup for people.
If it didnt come with the software, go to google and type in setup Linksys/netgear or whatever you have + setup. You will find the answer. You are asking for a lot compared to just setting it up. The amount of time it will take is a many minutes to a few hours depending if you run into problems.
