How will I know if my laptop is wireless enable?

The manuals & other materials already loss.
I have a netgear WGR614 v7 wireless router [successfully installed]but did not detect by my laptop automatically.
On the control panel of laptop there is a wireless setup wizard.
Does it mean my laptop is wireless enable? Or I still have to buy wireless usb?
Is there is something on the device manager that will say that my laptop is wireless enable?
i was having a hardtime finding Info about my laptop bec it was an old version and i already email the company [no more info].

u should have drivers for wifi which should be installed properly.Generally these drivers may act crazy sometimes.All u have to do is go to control panel, click on network and internet options.U ll have one option of wi fi.Click on it.then check it whether its ok or not.u can download wi fi drivers from net and also from official site of ur laptop company.if its automatic then wi fi can b detected.some laptops have manual wi fi in which ull b given one knob or sme button.Check it..and go to a place where wi fi is enabled..
