Will My WGR614(v9) Netgear Wireless Router Work Woth Xbox LIVE?
I have a Netgear Wireless-G Router, and wanted to know if it would work with Xbox LIVE. On the Xbox website it has a list of compatible routers and gateways, mine is not on there. It’s newer than the rest also. On one of the website’s pages, it says “Any router that supports Vista will work with Xbox LIVE.” Mine does support Vista (Although I use WindowsXP Home Edition). Any help here?

Just about any router will work. Some routers are good gaming routers because they let you prioritize Internet traffic.

Wired networks are usually better. Powerline is easy to setup, has little security issues, and you get the best signal strength at every room in the house.
