Flashing DD-WRT on Netgear Router, need help!?
Need help trying to flash DD-WRT firmware on Netgear WGT624 v4 wireless router. I tried updating the flash via the routers internal website (192.168.1.1) but it says the firmware file is NOT supported. The info on the ddwrt website claims the router needs to be ACTIVATED first. What does this mean? Any info would be appreciated.

your only true way of knowing is going to dd-wrt.com and reading the wiki regarding this, no one can tell you how to do it, it needs to be done step by step or else you will brick your router.
