Router connect internet connection, huh?
i want to connect my desktop computer to the internet. i have a router.. a netgear 108 mbps wireless firewall router WGT624 v3… blah blah… i’m very confused. i just want the other computer to connect! it says that it is connected.. when i take the internet cable and plug it into the router. but it doesn’t work. it says excellent for the bar strength. aye, aye. i never do this stuff, my brother does. any help would be greeat!! 
PS im online right now through my laptop. i have it plugged into the internet cable.
um, modem? huh? i think so… yeah we do
Are you connected to a modem? You might try contacting your ISP (Internet Service Provider). Mine does a wonderful job of answering my questions and walking me through things like this.
