router, network cable unplugged?
Okay so I recently installed a new Netgear RangeMax Wireless Router WPN824 v2 on my computer desktop so that I could get wireless internet for my laptop. It is working fine, but now I get disconnected all the time and my desk says "cable disconnected network. No wires are disconnected, and I think it might be a defect ethernet cable, because when I lose my connection, it is because the router loses power completely (all the lights go out). It turns off so you lose the connection, and then restarted in a couple of minutes. I tried all measures of reinstatement, but still happening. What is wrong with him, how I can fix it? Any help appreciated
The router may be defective, you mentioned it reformed, so that was returned by another customer at some point.
