50 "Samsung or Panasonic 50"? What should I get?!?
I'm very undecided about what to give my husband this Christmas. Him love video games and want a big TV to play their games in. People often tell me to get a Panasonic, because they are more reliable and durable. I might consider it, but I want to ask people here what they honestly think. I can not afford a 1080p unfortunately, and I have no budget at the moment after buying a Sony system Home Theater for my living room. Thank you very much
Both are good to go with the Panasonic. While there are only 720 – this will be great for games and television high definition. (Most people can not tell the difference between 720 and 1080). And the plasma is a good choice for the game, since there is no "blur movement problems such as LCD. Make sure you pop in a DVD of Pixar and go to video settings menu and use the test patterns to turn the brightness and the contrast according to instructions. Televisions are turned to "torch mode" at the factory to be attractive, but this can cause burning. Configuration adjustments to sound levels is all you need to do.
