Samsung plasma Q97 TV football????????
Hi All,
Ive just purchased a brand new samsung PS42Q97 HDX plasma tv and just set it up, im watching football and every time there is a long ball there seems a delay or blurred screen, i have used scart leads in the set up, will an s -video lead be better and rectify this? or any other advice pls?

A plasma TV has a DIGITAL video processor…because SO MUCH OF THE PICTURE IS CHANGING it “roughs in” the changing pixels and comes back a 2nd or 3rd time to “fill in the details”….
None of the connections can improve this, and the best to use is the HDMI connection. If the HDMI connection can’t improve it, nothing will….
However, SONY has an LCD Panel TV set with 120 Hz REFRESH RATE that overcomes this problem. The XBR4 line uses this technology along with several models in the S and V series….
You may want to trade it back in and ask to see the SONY LCD Panel TVs with the new “motion flow” technology or the ones with a 120 Hz Refresh rate….
