Samsung DLP picture settings help TV (anyone with Samsung plasma or LCD can help answer!)?
I have a 56 "Samsung DLP its nearly 2 years. Im trying out the best picture settings for a Blu-ray (I use a PS3). Now I'm not sure if I use the mode Game, or simply put it in Standard (with normal tone adjustment) or Movie mode (Which I have said is as close to reality, but it seems a bit dark). I understand this is all personal preference, but I wanted to see what others use. I read that the dynamic mode is really just for floor models in the store. So .. what is yours set at? Thanks for the help!
Dynamic mode is the best and brightest color images, but as you have heard, it seems "Hard" in your eyes at home. Setting standards is generally better overall. gameplay (at least Toshiba and LG) the picture changes some, but the main thing not the "process" of the image. Allows the entire processing is done on the game system so you do not have either a delay in the fast-paced games. The "movie" is so rare for purists in my opinion. The picture is very dark and although it may more closely resemble the cinema, why I want when I have clear and defined, vivid blu-ray image. Do you also want to get some lint and put it in the dvd player so I can see on the screen as the cinema? Start with the pattern. If it sounds too "bright", and then turn a little contrast.
