PC – television connection?
i have a laptop (HP) and a plasma television (samsung) my previous question on here was how do i get the picture off my laptop onto my television………….i got the answer from that question but i now have another problem (as predicted by one of the original answerer’s)
HOW DO I GET THE AUDIO OFF MY LAP TOP TO MATCH THE
PICTURE I NOW HAVE ON MY SCREEN??
i have tried connecting my headphone out socket from my laptop to the audio in socket on my telly (with the white and red connectors)…..but no joy??
i have tried a S-Video link cable from my laptop to television, and i have the same problem, no audio but i have picture
AAAAARGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH…..lol…….can someone please please help me lol

here is your problem s-video only carries picture not audio….so if you are on the channel for the s-video on your pc and you have your AV audio cables plugged in (the white and red) the audio and the video with be on two different channels the audio on one on the AV channels and the S-video on the PC channel my laptop connects ok because i have a HDMI port on my laptop so it transmits audio and video to the one place you will need to get some speakers or something to get better sound because most output ports on laptops will only output video on its own
