Plasma or LCD is right for me?

Viewing distance: 12 feet for the majority: only normal TV viewing, especially SD, movies and going to buy Wii play a new TV in 3-4 years after that because much will change until then anyway. Which one is right for me?
In fact that plasma is perfect for you and your seating distance! The 50 "720p is a recommended distance between seats is 10-14ft. At 40", a distance of 1080p is being recommended of 5-7 feet. If you get the 1080p TV and see 12 feet, is going to be like 720! Defeats the purpose of obtaining 1080p! See chart i linked below. In addition, the plasma with a higher contrast ratio and refresh rate faster than it perfect for fast moving content like sports, movies and games! Go with the plasma … not regret it!
