Issing link in my home theater system – help!?
I wonder if anyone can help me … I have a samsung series 4 50 inch Plasma, Playstation 3 Onkyo TX-SR806 one and a set of Yamaha speakers EF series. I obviously want to create the best audio and video quality possible. I am currently running a ps3 hdmi receiver and another HDMI from receiver to TV and coaxial antenna directly to the wall to the TV. The problem is I cannot get the TV sound through the receiver and I can only get sound from TV speakers … What am I doing wrong? would love some help .. thanks in advance! if I run optical cable from TV to the receiver, they produce only 2 channel sound like I'm chasing to 5.1 sound quality and if so, it is better to run the composite cables audio output on the TV for audio on the receiver? if I go with the composite cables How I can send the video / TV signal back to the receiver so you can use the lip-sync?, Finally thanks for your help
