What setting do I put my samsung plasma on to remove the vertical black lines on regular channels?
Had a comcast tech do It for me last time, he turned the tv off and set it to where the regular channels are full screen as well as the HD ones. Right now HD is in full screen (looks good) but my regular channels have the black line on each side.
It might be your comcast box. Turn on your TV and turn off your Comcast box. Press the menu button on your Comcast remote and it should bring up a settings screen. Make sure the 4:3 override is set to 480 stretch or something like that. I haven’t played with a comcast box for over a year so I don’t remember, but see if that helps.
And also set your Samsung screen setting to Full, or something to that effect, just make sure it’s not in stretch or anything like that.
