Help with Plasma TV Calibration!!?
I just bought a Samsung PN50A550 and don’t know if I should calibrate it before any set “break in” period? Looking for advice from those who know. Thanks!
Keep the contrast levels down for the first 2 weeks or 100hrs or so to help condition the plasma gases. Then set the levels to where you want them. Be sure to stay away from long periods of gaming because the TV switches to a gaming mode where all the contrast levels are set high!
Once the break in period is over, i recommend getting a DVD calibration wizard from Monster. That’ll help get ALL the TV’s settings to there proper settings for picture quality!
