2 Questions here! About Digital and HDTV’s!?
Okay so i just bought a Samsung 50in Plasma Tv and as we all know the picture looks way better in stores because they don’t use cable; they use a box to up convert it to HD! We also know that when you get it home and hook it up to cable it don’t look as good as you thought it would! The question here is what kind of box is it? or what is it called? is it a cable up converter???

I use Cable:( whenever everything goes to digital in February what will i need to buy? right now i have nothing but a cable wire going from my wall to tv. will the picture get any better? will i need that up converter box then? will i be able to scroll down the tv guide at my own pace instead of waiting forever for it to scroll on its own??
Well, the HD from Cable should look as good as the HD in the store, or very close. Analog cable will not look as good no matter what you do. Same with standard antenna, or satellite.
You will not have to change anything in Feb. Cable is all digital already. Your cable company simply converts it back to analog for you so you can keep your tv’s you have now.
