How do I connect my notebook to TV?
Hello all,
I really do need answer on this one. If you know the answer, please explain it in details because I’m not familiar with computers.
My question is,
I have a notebook (Dell Inspiron 700m), and bought a cable from ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330269376469), and was trying to connect the notebook to my TV (Samsung plasma HP-T4254) using this cable.
But I just can’t figure out how to do this. Do I have to configure my notebook or something? Please help!!!
ok, well i take it you already have an S-Video out on your laptop right? if you do, then it’s a peice of cake from there.
depending on what Operating System you have, it’s going to be a bit different.
right click on your desktop and go into properties. then go into display settings and there you should see your screen res. for your laptop. and there should be a second screen there for an extra screen. so just set that your second screen is going out through your S-Video port and that should really be it. and make sure your TV is on the correct channel and everything. if you need more help, you can email me. i haven’t done this before, but i know how to.
