setup belkin wireless router as access point

Can someone please help me.?

I need to setup my wireless router as an access point from my other router I had it setup once and then my router broke and I dont know how to do this…

my question is why do you need 2 routers? i have a 4 bedroom house and i have one router and get internet access in and outside my house. Not that i can be across the street or 4 houses down and access my internet, but i can be on the porch or 2 houses away and use it.

i also heard that having 2 routers just slows down your connectivity.

but i also thought a wireless router is an access point.

are you using 1 router for internet & another for personal use like sharing info between computers without being connected to the internet?
