Does a wireless router increase internet speed?
I’m not tech knowledgeable person so forgive the foolish question. I recently moved into a new apartment and setup internet access with Verizon DSL. It is very slow. I just want to know if I could considerably increase my internet speed by hooking my DSL modem up to a wireless router or if my speed stay the same but be broadcasted to all the computers within range. And if it does increase speed, can anyone suggest a good router please. Thank you in advance.
