what does “VALIDATING IDENTY” MEAN??
im trying to setup my wireless router up, and it says validating identy.
what should i do?
i have a netgear wgr614
it is checking to see if the system you are on(wireless) is the one that is allowed to connect with the router. you must have the security on the router on wanting the correct name or SSID and password or PASSCODE. usally this means the WEP security is enabled. if this is the case, enter what the SSID is in the wireless card setup and enter the PASSCODE. it must be exactly as it was set in the router.
