How to set up a wifi access point?
There seems to be a lot of confusion about wireless internet, if I do an internet search on how to get wireless internet all i get is sites telling you how to connect to someone’s access point.
1. I have optimum online
2. I have a modem
3. I am buying a router
Is that all I need? I just connect the ethernet cable from my modem, to my router, and then another ethernet cable from the router to my desktop, go through whatever else i need to do to setup the router, and I’ve got an access point for my PS3 to connect to the internet in the next room over, right? Simple as that? I don’t have to pay extra for wireless or anything like that, right?
well you can get a wireless router, and that would provide you with a wireless access point which is need for your own wifi at home
