"I can connect to Xbox Live through a router?
Ok so I'm thinking of buying the Pro [$ 400] I know that the package includes an Ethernet cable for connection. And I have a laptop in my room that has a wi-fi to my router. [At the other end of the house] I can connect my Ethernet cable into my laptop and even Xbox Live Internet through wi-fi on my 360? [I do not feel like buying a wireless network adapter.] The amount of money too. Thanks! Please answer in detail.
Unplug the router from the wall, plug in your Ethernet 360 and the other end to your router. Turn on your router a backup. The 360 should see the sign now and you should be able to sign in. Your question is a bit confusing, implying that want to connect the Ethernet on your computer Portable and runs the 360 wirelessly through your laptop?? So he asks if he can use his alptop as a wireless bridge?? I think you need to be a little more specific if you want a detailed response.
