PC help, I can connect to the Internet after a virus?
Well, the problem is the computer in question has a virus. One that replaces the top desk with a fake virus and malware. I had my friend run combo fix and AVG Anti virus software. the computer is virus free but can not connect to the Internet. The router is a link verizsa 7500 Gateway, the computer is a dell desktop running on Windows XP Home Edition. We have checked the IP address and configuration ipc whole automatically connect to reconnect ans still normal. A cell phone adapter has been purchased to bypass the LAN connection and still team tends to be online. Your IP address is saying is not good. anyone have any idea?
check whether the ethernet drivers are installed + control panel home of the then select System Hardware Device Manager and see if ethernet is a yellow mark on it if you try to install driver
