"I can use wireless router to configure the wireless printer and internet?

I have a PC with Windows 7 and a usb wireless internet. Am trying to configure a wireless connection to my Brother printer. I am told, because my Internet connection I may need a router. If I get one of these pilots I may use the wireless function of the printer and connect my internet to it too? How exactly? Thank you!

You need a wireless router. The printer and computer (s) both are connected wirelessly to the router and the router is connected to a cable modem. So if you want to print, the router sends the signal from the computer to the printer, and if you go online, the router sends its signal to the modem. You can also make without the router, by wire your modem directly to your computer, and the creation of an ad hoc network to connect the printer. But that's hard to do and very unstable, I really suggest you buy a cheap wireless router.
