Wireless router, Forgotten password! Now what? (urgent)?
So i have a Wireless D-Link router (DIR-300) and i had it setup and working with my sisters laptop & our wireless printer, it had a changed password due to a friend who we have lost contact with setting it up for us. Unfortunately we have forgotten the password and any other devices which we try connect through our own WiFi cannot. Eg: Iphone, DS etc. Last night someone told me to do a reset and i held down the reset button for 10 seconds and then something else happened which i can’t remember which involved me renaming the network and getting a pass phrase. This morning the laptop and printer cannot connect to the ne and the printer can’t Connect to the computers.
Help!!! I just wanna change my user name and password? Can anyone give me easy to understand instructions???
You should reset it again and then if u can go to the routers settings. (The default gateway is where your router settings are.)
You default gateway from your internet.You can find it at start>run>cmd>ipconfig then type your default gateway into your adress bar on your browser. The original name should be admin/admin after you can go to security.
