How to connect a wireless router to an ethernet connection? (Without modem)?
I have a wired Ethernet cable connection in my apartment. So it is a modem somewhere with no access. I have a wireless router Dynex DX-G WGRTR I hope to have a wireless connection to my laptop. But I have problems connecting and the computer does not recognize any connection. I tried to connect the ethernet port wireless router and connect the router to my laptop. it didn't work either. Do I need a desktop computer? Or I can simply connect the router to the Ethernet port and get my laptop connected wirelessly to router? … Please help me solve this … thank you very much !!!!!
You efforts are useless unless you connect the router to the modem.
