As a home range of wireless networks?
I put my wireless router 802.11g MIMO more range in the center of my house. I still unable to obtain reliable signal strength of the four corners. I bought an extra router and tried to expand the scope of communications. I read a user manual the router and changed to "Access Point" mode. Two routers can not talk to each other, unless "Cables." How I can "wireless" extend the range of communication? Does anyone know how to do this motel?
You need to set a router from "repeater" mode – most routers do not have a repeater mode, so you need a WRT54G and 3rd party firmware. Motels use either high-gain, omnidirectional antennas, slot antennas (You can run a slot antenna for miles – that's how you continue to get an FM signal in a tunnel or cellular) or repeaters, depending on the individual situation.
