Help Connecting to Xbox Live? A shortage of IP addresses?
Ok I just got a new Verizon USB card that plugs into my laptop to Internet high speed. Along with this letter, i I have a modem / router. The CradlePoint router is a version 1.0 …. has a USB port on this side, which is supposed to connect my Verizon card. Then I found an ethernet cable from the router for my xbox 360. So what I have so far is: Verizon Wireless Card -> CradlePoint Router -> (Via ethernet) -> Xbox 360 Now when I test my Xbox Live connection, an error occurs in the "IP address" ….. and I'm all out of ideas ….. Any help? Thanks =)
access your router for an address similar to 192.168.0.1 go to the port mapping, port forwarding, Virtual Servers something along those lines check to see if the xbox port is listed as open. This is because some routers have built in a server security.
