How do you get wi-fi portable high speed internet in Taiwan on your Dell Laptop?

I am about to go to Taiwan this summer and I don’t even know a thing about getting Wi-Fi (portable internet) to use on your laptop. Do you need to buy a internet card to plug in to my laptop? Where can I obtain this and how much would it cost? I will be staying in a taiwanese local’s house and how do I use internet there? Do you need to bring an inthernet cable and a router to use it in local’s house. I DON’T KNOW A THING ABOUT GETTING WIRELESS INTERNET ON MY LAPTOP SO PLEASE HELP ME. GIVE ME ALL THE INFORMATION YOU KNOW ABOUT RETRIEVING INTERNET CONNECTION IN TAIPEI. I ‘M SO WORRIED And I NEED TO BE ABLE TO USE INTERNET ON MY LAPTOP OUTSIDE AND IN THE LOCAL’S HOUSE I WILL BE STAYING IN!!!!!!!!!!! Answer PLEASE!!!
