Linksys Wireless-G issues?
I am using Linksys wireless G router with Speed Booster (2.4 GHz) with SBC Yahoo DSL and the router is in my bedroom principal. My laptop with wireless card is in another room that is approx 20-30ft away. But I'm still not able to obtain a constant speed Internet compatible. Sometimes it is good or very good. But sometimes the connection is lost or very poor. Any reason for this? Some of the things I have to mention: 1. I have another laptop in the master bedroom that is connected directly to the DSL modem. 2. There is a wireless base sitting right next to the wireless router. I read on some of the messages that the wireless phone may cause interference? Is it the only receiver or the telephone base too? Please help!
Its wireless base running 2.4 interfere with the wireless connection. I would suggest changing to either a higher / lower frequency GHz a home phone and then 2.4
