my router is right next to me and i have a very low signal strength.?
well, i just figured out that my wireless wasnt working because my switch wasnt on. so, i have an inspiron 6000 and i just started my wireless, and i have a linksys broadband router, model WRT54G, and its on a stand right next to my laptop. when i connect to it, it has a very low signal strength? WHATS WRONG? Please and thank you.
how do i change the “channel?”
Several things could be wrong, 2.4ghz phone near, etc.
You might try changing the broadcast channel. Most default to channel 6 which in turn makes for a busy channel.
