wireless router n or g
Low-Fi network, router or range extensor N G?

Currently I have a wireless G router and Wireless G PC Card, but my signal is weak. Would I benefit more by improving the entire configuration for N or I have to go alone and get a signal (Range Extender) Access Point / Bridge for G settings?

Before considering the change of the current router, how is your router to where you use your laptop? Is there any concrete or (ground and / or walls) between these two points. If so, that the material is a well-known signal attenuator. You may want to get an antenna that increases gain as follows: http://www.mcmelectronics.com/product/30-2050 There are others but you replace the antenna on your router with it.
