netgear wireless router not working right?
ok, ive got a white netgear router (wireless) thats a modem and router in one, first off, when i close my laptop or shut it down, then turn it back on or open it, it disconnects from the internet and when i try to connect back, it says it cant connect, all i do is turn the router off and straight bak on, then it connects, it does this on my mums desktop, but the funny thing is my ps3 connects to it no problem, like it should, 2nd sometimes the router randomly disconnects to the inter and the dsl light starts flashing green steadly, sometimes it connects back to the internet but sometimes i have to turn it off/on, so, tell me what u thing plz, oh, and do u think the problem is a router problem, i havnt done a setting on my computer ( which it might be cos the ps3 has a different os and might not have the option that my computer doesnt have or something) or is something with my houses wiring or something else, is it a common problem? or do i need to call an i.t. guy in?
