wireless router or access point difference
Will it work on my router?

I have a wired router and want to buy a wireless router or wireless access point to run out of my iPod Touch. What is the difference between the 2? I plug it into one of the ports in my router by cable, will have to work? What will work best?

Can you just get rid of the wired router and plug it into the back of the wireless router is not compatible with Wi-Fi? Wireless Routers are (usually) in 4-port connected in the back along with wireless access. So for your desktop, so it does not have a wireless connection to the could only connect there. Then you just have wireless modem router. This is what we do at home. I've never tried to daisy chain routers, but may work. You, of course, had split their bandwidth more that way, and adding latency.
