wireless router or wireless card

Is there a way to connect a windows 98 laptop to the Internet through a wireless router without a card?

By this I mean is there some sort of hub device, usb or otherwise? I thought that wireless cards for windows98 laptops may be hard to come by these days and not very functional.

There are plenty of little $30 usb wireless devices. You just have to check that 98 drivers are included. I have a bunch of old 98 Toshibas running on Linksys dongles.
