Do Mac and PC use different types of routers?
I want to buy my sister a wireless router for her birthday. She and her kids all have Mac notebooks. I have an account with an office supply company and they offer Linksys, Belkin, Netgear to name a few. Are these routers soley for PC use, or are they compatible with Mac?
Any router will work.
I’ve had good luck with the Linksys WRT54G in a network of Macs. I can do full administration via my browser, including upgrading the firmware.
