My computer has signal strength dropped from my Belkin router, but my laptop (same place) has strong, why?
I have belkin wireless g router. My laptop has v.strong signal, but my computer (in the same place) has a low. Why is this? Is it something to do with the list that the router sends a signal? With the laptop is higher on this list, to receive a better signal?
Usually there is no need to divide the bandwidth of wireless, so my guess is that the list we are seeing is just a list of devices connected to your wireless device (probably sorted), so nothing to do with the bandwidth will be divided. As for the team weaker than the signal, I suggest that Google's wireless card with manufacturer, see if you're the only one with this problem. My guess is, your wireless card not working properly. BTW: your operating system may (though extremely rare) limit your wireless network connection speed.
